Growing up and living in Yorkshire, the landscape of my childhood continues to shape my work, carrying both memory and a deep, spiritual connection to the land. Each painting is rooted in my experience of walking through this terrain – translating sensations and atmosphere into colour and form.

I work intuitively, allowing the flow of colour to guide the process. My paintings become a meeting point between the outer landscape and my inner one – a reflection of how I experience and respond to the world around me. Layers of memory and shifting impressions gathered over time inform each work, capturing the evolving relationship between place, feeling and spirit. Through colour and form, I hope to foster a connection with viewers, inviting them to feel, reflect and engage with these places in their own way.
