Growing up in Yorkshire, the landscape of my childhood continues to shape my work. Each painting begins with a walk through this terrain, translating sensations and atmosphere into colour and form. I work intuitively, allowing the flow of colour to guide the process. The paintings become a meeting point between outer landscape and inner reflection, where memory, feeling, and place converge.
